Silent movie night in November 2022: “The Fall of the House of Usher”

Join us at Kino Babylon on Friday, 25 November 2022, for this month’s silent movie night. We’ll be watching “The Fall of the House of Usher”, a 1928 French film adaptation of the Edgar Allan Poe’s gothic story by the same title.

Directed by Jean Epstein, screenplay by none other than Luis Buñuel (and Epstein), the film is now considered one of the best adaptations of Poe. The leading roles are played by Marguerite Gance, Jean Debucourt and Charles Lamy.

The screening starts at 12 noon SLT, and if you can’t make it on that day, the film will be available on demand at the Kino until 23 December.

Kino Babylon is located in the heart of the 1920s Berlin sim, which you can reach by clicking on this link.
